The present invention makes it possible to receive video signals with variable synchronization of channels. All the fundamental logical circuits are on the side of the receiver, which can communicate with an arbitrary transmitter. The receiver comprises one or more module systems (3) for processing video data and makes it possible to set selectively their mutual synchronization. These module systems (3) adjust data transmission rate-to-rate frame generator for generation of that data on the side of the transmitter without the use of exact sources of the time pulses on both sides of the transmission and without feedback from the receiver to the transmitter. The receiver further comprises a channel synchronization set-up memory (1), which determines distribution of the channels to synchronized groups and a detector (2) of the frame origins. These, along with multiplexers (12) of clock signals provide synchronization of the channels within the framework of the group and enable change of this distribution.
