A METHOD OF FLAVOURING AN ADSORBENT-CONTAINING WEB MATERIAL

A method of flavouring an adsorbent-containing web material comprises applying a flavourant to a surface of the web material and subjecting the material to a temperature of greater than 20°C for a period of at least thirty minutes to allow adsorption of the flavourant by the adsorbant in the web material. The flavoured adsorbant-containing web material may be incorporated in a smoking article.
