摘要 The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display. A method for manufacturing a liquid crystal display formed by bonding a first substrate and a second substrate according to the present invention comprises the steps of: attaching an adhesive tape with a predetermined width on the first substrate, wherein the adhesive tape is attached such that a cutting line for cutting is positioned inside the adhesive tape; drawing a sealant so as to form a seal pattern with a first width along the cutting line, wherein the sealant is drawn such that the cutting line is positioned inside the seal pattern with the first width while the seal pattern with the first width is overlapped with at least a part of the adhesive tape; forming a seal pattern with a second width smaller than the first width by removing the attached adhesive tape and the sealant overlapped with the adhesive tape together; forming a panel by bonding the first and second substrates; and hardening the seal pattern with the second width. Accordingly, the width of the seal pattern can be reduced to form a narrow seal to minimize an area covered with a bezel, thereby providing a liquid crystal display capable of widening an area occupied by a display area in the entire panel.
