Introduced is a battery module which includes battery packs comprising an anode terminal and a cathode terminal; connection parts which are respectively connected to the cathode terminal and the anode terminal of the battery packs adjacent to both ends and serially connects the battery packs; an operation part which is formed in one end of the connection part, is elevated according to an increase in the inner pressure of the battery pack, and makes open a connection between the battery pack and the one end of the connection by elevating the one end of the connection part; and a bypass part which has one end which is located above the one end of the connection part, and the other end which is connected to the other end of an adjacent connection part, and maintains the series connection of the remaining battery pack except the battery pack having the increased inner pressure by being connected to the one end of the connection part when the one end of the connection part is elevated by the operation part. |
