In order to achieve the objective of the present invention, an electro-optic modulator using a nano thin film according to the present invention comprises a substrate layer, a first electrode layer stacked on the upper part of the substrate layer, an electro-optic layer stacked on the upper part of the first electrode layer, and a second electrode layer formed on the upper part of the electro-optic layer. The electro-optic layer is formed by stacking organic polymer materials with a nano thickness multiple times by an LB method , and generates electro-optic effects when a modulation voltage is applied through the first electrode layer and the second electrode layer. The electro-optic modulator using a nano thin film according to the present invention having the above configuration constitutes the electro-optic layer formed on the substrate using the polymer material with a crystal which is structurally stable by using LB method, and thus the electro-optic modulator has excellent electro-optic characteristics and also can prevent the degradation of the electro-optic characteristics as time goes by.
