The present invention relates to pipes and a manufacturing method thereof and more specifically, to abrasion-resistant pipes used for various construction materials with slag byproducts and waste refractory from steel manufacturing processes as a raw material and a manufacturing method thereof. An embodiment of the present invention is a pipe with a pipe body being manufactured by mixing slag produced during steel manufacturing processes and waste refractory wherein the pipe body contains 40-50 wt% of silicon dioxide (SiO2), 7-15 wt% of iron oxide (Fe2O3), 7-15 wt% of aluminum oxide (Al2O3), 7-15 wt% of calcium oxide (CaO) and 7-15 wt% of magnesium oxide (MgO).
