In a method for informing event occurrence of an event informing service system, the present invention relates to an event occurrence informing method of an event informing service system and an apparatus thereof. An information processing method includes the steps of: receiving event information including name information of an event object manually according to key operation of a user, or receiving event information including the name information of the event object from another information processing apparatus or a terminal (example: person, company, the press, etc.); and transmitting the inputted event information to terminals of all registered members in a lump. The terminal (example: mobile communication terminal, smart phone, tablet PC, etc.) includes the steps of: checking whether a name matching the name information of the event object transmitted from the information processing apparatus exists among the name information in a telephone book or a contact list; and informing a user of a corresponding event occurrence by displaying the occurrence on a screen in the case of a name matching the name information of the event object exists among the name information in the telephone book or the contact list, according to the checking result, and processing a corresponding event as a default in the case of a name matching the name information of the event object does not exist among the name information in the telephone book or the contact list. The method of the present invention can inform a member related with the corresponding event of the event occurrence more effectively in real-time without a cumbersome procedure or inconvenience such as additional credit information usage agreement.
