Provided are a computing system and a data management method. The data management method of the computing system performs checkpointing, writes multiple nodes on multiple node blocks using a sequential write method after the checkpointing, and selects nodes requiring to be recovered by scanning the multiple node blocks using the location information of the next node to be used which is included each node in a recovery operation.
