The present invention relates to a hot-water supplying apparatus comprising: a heat exchanger allowing clean water at an ambient temperature and hot water adjacent to each other to pass therethrough and to exchange heat with each other, and supplying the clean water exchanging the heat with the hot water to the outside; a hot-water supplier having a valve which shuts off the supply of the clean water, filled with the clean water by the operation of the valve, heating the clean water filled therein into the hot water, and heating the clean water in the heat exchanger by circulating the hot water in the heat exchanger; a control part controlling the operation of the hot-water supplier; a case having the hot-water supplier and the control part therein; and a calorie calculator calculating calories from heat exchange between the clean water and the hot water based on the temperatures and flow rates of the clean water and the hot water which exchange the heat with each other while passing through the heat exchanger, and providing the control part with the calculated calories. According to the present invention, while passing through the heat exchanger, the clean water at the ambient temperature exchanges the heat with the hot water, into which the clean water is heated by the hot-water supplier, so that heat efficiency can be improved by heating the clean water to a predetermined temperature without heat loss.
