The present invention relates to a network security method, more specifically, to a network security method capable of dealing with an ARP poisoning attack. Provided is the network security method including an authentication request step in which in a subnet circumstance with a gateway, 802.1 X authentication server, and more than one subscriber device, a subscriber device with an IP address and a MAC address with an agent installed requests the 802.1 X authentication server for authentication via the gateway; an authentication frame writing step in which the 802.1X authentication server writes the authentication frame to be delivered to the subscriber device having requested for authentication; an authentication delivery step in which the 802.1X authentication server delivers the authentication frame to the subscriber device having requested for authentication; and a MAC address setting step in which the subscriber device having requested for authentication statically sets the IP address and MAC address of the gateway based on DHCP information inserted in the delivered authentication frame. |
