The present invention relates to a forming drum cooling structure of a metal thread forming apparatus. The metal thread forming apparatus (10) has a forming drum (14) comprising: a cylindrical outer drum (142) which has forming teeth on the outer surface thereof so that a microfiber or filament-shaped metal thread can be continuously detached from the bottom of a metal plate heated by an induction coil (12), can be transferred to a pressing roller (16), and then can be pressed by the pressing roller (16); and an inner drum (144) installed inside the outer drum (142), and concentric to the rotary shaft of the outer drum (142), and the forming drum cooling structure according to the present invention is to continuously cool the forming drum (14) by supplying a cooling fluid at a certain pressure into a cylindrical cooling path (140) from one side the rotary shaft toward the other side of the rotary shaft, wherein the cooling path (140) formed to be a space between the outer drum (142) and the inner drum (144) separated therefrom at a certain distance has spiral blade members (150, 160, and 170) allow the cooling fluid to flow in the direction of the rotary shaft while the cooling fluid is at least partially rotated on the rotary shaft spirally. Therefore, the rotating cooling fluid can flow in the cylindrical ring-shaped cooling path, so that the cooling fluid can smoothly flow, and, as a result, cooling efficiency can be improved. |
