The present invention relates to a terminal and a method for controlling AP access of a terminal. To this end, the terminal according to one embodiment of the present invention, uses an antenna for detecting a WLAN signal and the signal detected by the antenna to determine the strength of each AP, enables the terminal to access the AP having the strongest signal, presents a query to all terminals on a WLAN network in a predetermined packet format via the AP that is accessed, receives a response from all of the terminals to determine the number of terminals accessing each of the APs on the WLAN network, and enables the terminal to access to the AP having the lowest number of accessed terminals. The method for controlling the AP access of the terminal, according to one embodiment of the present invention, also determines the number of terminals accessing each of the APs on a network and connects the terminal to the AP having the lowest number of accessed terminals in the same manner. |
