The present invention relates to an edge ring for wind instrument in which the ring-shaped edge ring tapered in a front-narrow and rear-wide shape is fastened to a mouth of a wave guide to generate a pressure drop in the sound wave coming in the wave guide, thereby increasing the resonance and thus increasing the echo of the sound. The edge ring of the wind instrument, in which the sound wave travels along the hollow wave guide having a given length and resonates therein when a musician plays the instrument, is formed in a ring shape corresponding to the mouth of the wave guide. The edge ring is tapered in the front-narrow and rear-wide shape to generate the pressure drop in the sound wave coming in the wave guide. |
