Provided are a system and a method for managing a product history, capable of realizing a safe and transparent logistics distribution flow. The system for managing a product history comprises: a plurality of distribution sales servers to transmit history data including the next destination identification information of a product released from a wholesaler and a retailer, and logistics subject identification information of the wholesaler and the retailer who transmit the data; and a manufacturing server to store the history data received from the distribution sales servers and to determine whether the product is normally distributed through the logistics subject identification information and the next destination identification information in the stored history data.
