The present invention relates to a wind blocking gasket for sash windows, and more particularly to a wind blocking mechanism for sash windows, which effectively seals a gap between a sash window and a sash window frame to increase an insulating/sound-proofing effect. The wind blocking mechanism includes a bar-shaped installation member (10) fixed on an upper surface of a sash window frame (100) in which sash windows (200) are installed to be located in a space between the sash windows (200) and having a predetermined sectional shape along the longitudinal direction thereof; first sealing members (20) protruding from opposite side surfaces of the installation member (10) along an extension direction of the installation member (10) to resiliently support a lower surface of the sash windows (200); and a bar-shaped second sealing member (30) of which a lower surface is fixed while being supported by the upper surface of the sash window frame (100) and of which an upper surface is supported by a bottom surface of the sash windows (200) to be relatively slipped and which has a predetermined sectional shape along the longitudinal direction thereof. |
