The objective of the present invention is to provide an engaging position memorizing device that is capable of accurately detecting an engaging position of a vehicle clutch and a brake system using the same. In order to achieve the above objective, an engaging position memorizing device (2b) that memorizes an engaging position of a clutch which engages and disengages the power of a vehicle memorizes the engaging position of the clutch based on the clutch position detected at the point of time when acceleration is changed in a case where the vehicle is in a driving state until the lapse of a predetermined time after the change in the acceleration in a front-to-back direction of the vehicle.
