TORQUE SHEAR COUPLER HAVING TOOTH OF TAPER-TYPE FOR STRESS DISTRIBUTION

The present invention provides a coupler with a taper type bump for distributing the stress of a separation unit. The cross sections of the upper and lower parts of a bump (protrusion) of a separation unit of a TS coupler are formed into a tapered triangle or a tapered rectangle. A partially-tapered portion or a entirely-tapered portion is formed on the upper part of the bump of the separation unit, and a partially-tapered portion is formed on the upper part of the separation unit so that a spanner can be easily inserted into the TS coupler. Additionally, predetermined torque is automatically applied when connecting a connection target member such as steel bars to a connection member such as the TS coupler, and the strength of the applied torque can be directly checked with the unaided eye so that the coupler remarkably reduces inconvenience when connecting the members. Furthermore, the coupler can improve productivity by preventing the deformation of the TS coupler or damage to the spanner during a work process.
