According to the present invention, disclosed is an apparatus for spraying cooling water comprising: a header part arranged along the width direction of a cold rolled strip; a nozzle part including multiple first nozzles installed in the center of the header part to spray cooling water to the center of the strip, and multiple second nozzles installed in both sides of the header part to spray cooling water to both sides in the width direction of the strip; a manifold part installed in the header part for distributing and supplying cooling water to each nozzle of the second nozzle; and a control valve connected to the manifold part to supply or block cooling water to the manifold part in order to control cooling water spraying of the second nozzle according to the width of the strip. The apparatus for spraying cooling water is capable of varying the width to spray cooling water according to the width of a strip used in a rolling process, and preventing a mixed grain size by making the width direction cooling efficiency of the strip uniform. |
