An electronic device of the present invention comprises a voice acquisition unit receiving a first voice; a voice processing unit processing a voice signal; a communications unit communicating with at least one external electronic device and receiving information about at least one second voice; and a control unit determining whether the first voice is a user command based on the information about at least one second voice received from the communications unit, and performing control so that an operation corresponding to the first voice is not performed if the first voice is not the user command.
