A locking device realizes a closed state and an open state by using a dead bolt. The dead bolt is in a closed state or an open state when a solenoid shaft moves in a first direction or a second direction according to the currents applied to a solenoid. When the dead bolt is in the closed state or when an unauthorized external force is applied to the dead bolt, the closed state is maintained by generating force applied to the solenoid shaft in the first direction in proportion to the unauthorized external force. |
