PURPOSE: A signal processing method of a relay node and a method thereof are provided to determine the optimal filter information of a relay node in a wireless communication system by considering a direct link environment from a transmitting node to a receiving node. CONSTITUTION: An information acquisition unit (110) obtains channel information from a transmitting node to a relay node, from the relay node to a receiving node and from the transmitting node to the receiving node. An error function setup unit (120) sets up an error function which is expressed by the sum of a first term and a second term. The first term includes a variable which expresses the precoder information of the relay node. The second term does not include the precoder information. A filter information determination unit (130) determines the precoder information so that the error function which is set up has a minimum value. The filter information determination unit determines relay filter information based on the determined precoder information.
