The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a frame for puzzle pieces and, specifically, a method for manufacturing a frame for puzzle pieces having an embossed or engraved pattern formed along an edge frame. A method for manufacturing a frame for puzzle pieces comprises the following steps of: determining the shape of a frame and a pattern to be engraved in the frame; manufacturing a mold having multiple patterned cast pieces according to the shape of the frame; extruding thermoplastic resin and forming the frame; printing a determined pattern according to the frame; cutting the frame in which the pattern is engraved and assembling the frame to have a predetermined shape; disposing a front surface plate and a rear surface plate of the frame; and fixating the front surface plate and the rear surface plate using a fixating pin; wherein the patterned cast pieces are formed in a rotating roller and a step for printing the pattern is consecutively performed by the rotating roller while forming the frame.
