According to alighting apparatus capable of adjusting brightness of a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus provides a brightness adjusting unit for a light bulb (i.e. lighting apparatus) in a light bulb socket to adjust the brightness of the lighting apparatus. Also, a light bulb socket according to the present invention can provide the lighting apparatus which can be used easily in connection to the existing light bulb which does not require the brightness adjusting unit. Moreover, the light bulb according to the present invention may be used in connection to the existing light bulb socket. The lighting apparatus according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention includes a first socket terminal mounted on the light bulb socket; and a second socket terminal mounted thereon, wherein the first socket terminal and the second socket terminal is connected to a first light bulb terminal and a second light bulb terminal which are mounted on a cap of the light bulbs when the light bulb socket is connected to the light bulb. |
