A tablet distribution apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a tray having multiple tablet inserting parts; multiple luminous parts corresponding to the multiple tablet inserting parts; an inserting sensor sensing an insertion of tablets into the multiple tablet distribution; and a control part obtaining information of tablets that need to be inserted into at least a part of the multiple tablet inserting parts, controlling the multiple luminous parts based on the obtained information, and changing a luminous state of the multiple luminous parts based on a result of sensing of the inserting sensor.
