PURPOSE: A ship maneuvering apparatus using a position sensor is provided to simplify configuration thereof with accurately controlling a direction board, and to improve precision with a direct driving method using a stepping motor. CONSTITUTION: A ship maneuvering apparatus (1) includes an arc-shaped scale plate (3), a stepping motor (5), an operation handle (7), a permanent magnet (8), a position sensor (9), and a control circuit. The scale plate is installed at the upper side of a main body (2) fixed to a hull. The stepping motor inside the scale plate is supported by the main body. The operation handle is installed at an outer motor shaft (6a) exposed outside the main body. The permanent magnet is installed at an inner motor shaft (6b) inside the main body. The position sensor for detecting the permanent magnet at the front end of a motor shaft (6) is fixed to a sensor fixing plate (10) fixed to the main body. The control circuit is mutually and electrically connected to a ship maneuvering apparatus at the other location. |
