PURPOSE: A drying device for a glass using a steel heater is provided to wholly or partially heating a glass and to promptly respond to an invalid operation by equipping a plate-shaped steel heater to vertically and horizontally move about a LCD glass. CONSTITUTION: A drying device for a glass using a steel heater comprises a frame, a controlling unit(40), a heater, and a transferring unit(20). The frame forms a drying space for drying a LCD glass. The transferring unit transfers the LCD glass to the inside and outside of the drying space. The heater heats up the LCD glass. The controlling unit operates the heater and transferring unit according to a preset drying condition. The heater comprises a resistant body which is equipped in one side of the metal plate for generating electric resistance heat and is a plate-shaped steel heater(30) for exposing infrared light and heat to the LCD glass through the metal plate.
