A method and a system for providing a music service using image code art are disclosed. The method for providing a music service comprises the steps of: producing a symbol or an image, branded for a music service provision, to be visually exposed, receiving image code art exposed through a medium of an affiliated company having partnership with a provider providing the music service, and recognizing information included in the image code art; and connecting to a server which provides the music service using the recognized information, and receiving the music service from the server according to the recognized information. Therefore, the music service can provide a service for music which is associated with content exposed through the medium together with the image code art.
