A surround audio implementation apparatus according to the present invention comprises a mixing unit outputting a sum and a difference of output signals of a first and a second one-way directional microphone member which are facing front and rear, respectively; a direction function generator which provides a one-way directional signal in any direction by using the output signal from the mixing unit and an output signal from a bi-directional microphone member facing left and right; and a channel synthesizer which synthesizes and outputs a channel corresponding to a channel of surround sound according to the direction function provided by the direction function generator. According to the present invention, the apparatus is portable and enables an acquisition of a surround audio signal in a confined space without any spatial constraints, at a small cost.
