The present invention relates to a device for the high temperature sterilization and thermal decomposition of wastes which is provided to reduce expenses for processing wastes as the volume of the wastes is remarkably reduced by thermally decomposing the wastes contained in a cage using heat from a reaction furnace while easily moving the wastes contained in the cage to the inside and the outside of the reaction furnace; to reduce time required for processing the wastes by removing a flash point of sludge as harmful gas is discharged to a condenser by steam generated by injecting water to the cage in which the sludge remains while the wastes are thermally decomposed; and to improve energy efficiency by reducing time required for heating the reaction furnace as the temperature of the reaction furnace is not dramatically decreased.
