Provided is a shaft sealing structure including a first flange (5-15) that projects toward a rotation shaft (3) from a housing (1) enclosing a rotation shaft with a clearance therebetween and is provided with an annular seal surface (16) perpendicular to the rotation shaft, a second flange (5-15) that projects from the housing toward the rotation shaft and is provided with a support surface (17) opposing the seal surface (16), a seal ring (18) that is arranged between the first flange and the second flange and has an inner diameter slightly larger than an outer diameter of the rotation shaft, and an energizing member (19) that is arranged between the seal ring (18) and the support surface (17) and presses the seal ring (18) against the seal surface (16). With such a shaft sealing structure, shaft sealing capability does not decrease due to bend of the rotation shaft. |
