According to the present invention, while a vehicle is stopped, during which time the engine is driven and power generation control is performed in a state in which a first clutch is directly engaged and a second clutch is disengaged, the power generation control is interrupted on the basis of the detection of a start request, after which control is performed to shift the second clutch from being disengaged to being slip-engaged, control is performed to shift the first clutch from being engaged to being slip-engaged, and a motor target speed (Nmtg) is reduced. Loads on the second clutch can thereby be prevented, and the durability of the second clutch can be improved. On the basis of the detection of a start request, control is performed to shift the second clutch from being disengaged to being slip-engaged and control is performed to shift the first clutch from being engaged to being slip-engaged; therefore, a highly responsive vehicle start can be enabled, and hesitation can be mitigated. |
