<p>This infrared-blocking film comprises a transparent substrate, a near-infrared-absorbing layer, which contains a near-infrared absorbent having a wavelength of maximum absorption of 750 nm to 920 nm, and a near-infrared-reflecting layer obtained by fixing a cholesteric liquid crystalline phase. The near-infrared absorbent is a compound represented by general formula (1). The infrared-blocking film has excellent invisibility and robustness, and provides high thermal barrier performance. (R1a and R1b may be the same or different to each other, and each represent an alkyl group, an aryl group, or a heteroaryl group. R2 and R3 each represent a hydrogen atom or a substituent, and at least one of R2 and R3 is an electron-attracting group. R2 and R3 may bond to each other to form a ring. R4 represents a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, an aryl group, a heteroaryl group, a substituted boron or a metal atom. R4 may have a covalent bond or a coordinate bond with R1b and/or R3.)</p> |
