The volumetric flow meter (1) has a device (4) for determination of the flow rate of the mediums based on the transit time difference method and a device (3) for determination of the flow rate of the mediums by thermal mass flow measurement. The devices (3,4) are arranged in the measuring tube (2). The ultrasonic transducers (4a-4d) are arranged in the device for determination of flow rate of the mediums based on transit time difference method. An independent claim is included for method for determining flow rate of mediums with volumetric flow meter.
