<p>Provided is a cable device having a highly resilient excess load absorption mechanism. This cable device comprises: a rotating body whereupon a manipulation-side cable is wound and connected; a following body which is connected to the rotating body; and an excess load absorption mechanism which is disposed between the rotating body and the following body, engages with and rotates in unison with the rotating body and the following body before a manipulation quantity of the manipulation-side cable reaches a prescribed quantity, and, after the manipulation quantity of the manipulation-side cable reaches the prescribed quantity, the rotating body moves relative to the following body in approximately the same direction wherein force is applied to the rotating body by the manipulation-side cable.</p> |
