PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a female member for coupler that is superior in formability, anti-crack characteristic, seal characteristic and preferable for a coupler of a large diameter pipe.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a female member for a coupler etc. comprising a cylindrical body having a cylindrical through-hole, an annular inward flange protruded at one end of the through-hole from the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical body in a radial inward direction, a female screw part arranged at the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical body. A thickness of the cylindrical body in its radial direction is 5 to 20 mm, a thickness of the inner flange in its axial direction is 5 to 20 mm, a diameter of the through-hole formed by the inner flange is 40 mm or more, the female member is made of fluoropolymer having polymerization unit based on tetrafluoroethylene and one or more polymerization units based on perfluoro (alkyl vinyl ether), fluoropolymer includes polymerization unit of 3.0 to 7.0 mass% based on perfluoro (alkyl vinyl ether) in respect to total polymerization units and melt flow rate is 4.5 to 15.0 g/10 minutes. |
