PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus and a program capable of improving convenience for a user.SOLUTION: An operation unit connected with an image processing unit via a control line, operating by an operating system different from that of the image processing unit, and receiving an operation input comprises a detection unit, a determination unit, and a first control unit. The detection unit detects whether abnormality has occurred in the image processing unit. If the detection unit detects that abnormality occurs in the image processing unit, the determination unit determines whether restart of the operation unit is required. If the determination unit determines that the restart of the operation unit is not required, the first control unit performs control to prevent execution of the restart of the operation unit. |
