PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for improving the strength of support pillars which hold and support a lamination unit in an electric power conversion apparatus including the lamination unit where multiple semiconductor modules housing semiconductor elements and multiple cooling plates are alternately laminated.SOLUTION: An electric power conversion apparatus 2 includes: a lamination unit 20; a case 10 for housing the lamination unit 20; and an elastic member 3 which applies a load to the lamination unit 20 in a lamination direction. Support pillars 12, each of which supports one end of the lamination unit 20, are provided at the case 10. The lamination unit 20 and the elastic member 3 are held and supported between a case side wall 10b and the support pillars 12. A rib 13 is provided at a position of each support pillar 12 which is located at the opposite side of the lamination unit 20. The ribs 13 improve the strength of the support pillars 12. |
