A graphics rendering device reads out diagram data of a render diagram and a render list which defines render content from an external memory wherein the render diagram and the render list are pre-stored, generates intermediate data with an intermediate data generation means, and stores same in the external memory. The graphics rendering device detects the diagram from the intermediate data in the external memory with an intermediate data scan means; generates and renders pixels of the detected diagram from the diagram data in the external memory with a diagram rendering means. The graphics rendering device writes this rendered image to a buffer with a multiple buffer configuration and retains same therein. The graphics rendering device comprises a display output means for reading out the rendered image which is stored in the buffer and outputting same to a display device. The writing to the buffer and the reading out from the buffer are carried out in an alternating manner.
