<p>A cap-type stand for a portable electronic device has a top plate section which supports the portable electronic device and a peripheral wall section which hangs down from the top plate section, and the stand can be mounted to a commercial product packaging container so as to cover the upper end section thereof. The stand comprises: a container engagement section provided to the peripheral wall section, the container engagement section engaging with the upper end section of the commercial product packaging container and enabling the stand to be mounted to the commercial product packaging container; a device support section provided to the top plate section, the device support section engaging with the portable electronic device and enabling the device to be supported by the top plate section; and an electric power supply device (battery and connector) for supplying electric power to the portable electronic device.</p> |
