The lathe (10) has several permanent magnets (16) which are arranged in V-shaped configuration opened towards outer circumference (12A) of a rotor (12) to form a magnetic pole. Permanent magnet generates magnetic flux lines from stator magnetic flux lines and directs the magnetic flux lines to opening of rotor, when the permanent magnet is located in preset position, so that opening of an extension space at the side of permanent magnet is extended towards rotor axis from extension region and is arranged in extension region adjacent to transverse axis of permanent magnet.
