PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To bond a metal terminal tightly to a container member even in a use environment where high temperature or high pressure is repeated in a sealed container of a sealed electrochemical device, e.g., a capacitor or a lithium battery, having an electrode terminal in at least one of split container members via synthetic resin, and an electrode element containing electrolyte in a sealed container formed by combining the container members.SOLUTION: A metal terminal 4 is subjected to surface modification so as to generate a reactive group causing hydrogen bonding or phenol bonding or ester bonding with a synthetic resin material (resin gasket 9), by bringing the surface of the metal terminal into contact with liquid fluid containing fine bubbles from 1 nm to 100 μm composed of an oxidant. The metal terminal 4 is bonded tightly to a container member (metal lid via resin gasket 9) 2, by molding the metal terminal 4 integrally with the synthetic resin material (resin gasket 9). |
