PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress power consumption by utilizing current place information of a portable information terminal, and automatically enabling or disabling a predetermined function at a place in need.SOLUTION: Current place information acquisition means acquires current place information consisting of longitude, latitude and altitude, by receiving a GPS signal, for example. Current place determination means determines whether or not the longitude, latitude and altitude of the current place information are within a range of a predetermined threshold (e.g., the latitude is a predetermined value ± 1 sec). When the longitude, latitude and altitude are within a range of a predetermined threshold, the current place determination means determines that the terminal is located in the home, otherwise the terminal is located in other than the home. When a determination is made that the terminal is located in the home, the control means enables (disables) a predetermined function. |
