PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling apparatus capable of notifying a user of a situation that a compressor is stopped for protection.SOLUTION: A cooling apparatus having a refrigeration cycle 20 including a compressor 21, for performing a cooling operation by operating the compressor 21, and having a protection function for the compressor 21 from overcurrent includes: a detection device 25 for detecting a physical amount regarding operation of the compressor 21; a determination device 33 for determining whether the compressor 21 is in operating condition or in stop condition according to a detection signal from the detection device 25, and then outputs a determination signal if it determines that the compressor 21 is in stop condition; and a notification device 40 for notifying a user of that the compressor 21 is in the stop condition by receiving the determination signal. |
