PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide current mode circuitry that enables at least one of improved distortion performance, reduced power consumption, reduced circuit size and increased sampling rate.SOLUTION: Current mode circuitry 40 for sampling a current signal Iincludes: a first node (I) configured to receive the current signal; a plurality of second nodes A-D electrically connectable to the first node along respective paths; steering means 42 for controlling connections between the first node and the second nodes such that different packets of charge making up the current signal are steered along different paths over time; generation means 46 for generating corresponding sample values on the basis of characteristics of the packets of charge passing through the second nodes; and calibration means 52 for combining the sample values from one or more of the plurality of second nodes to provide one or more combined sample values, and executing a calibration operation on the basis of the sample values. |
