PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drug which promotes or inhibits angiogenesis and/or vasculogenesis, which promotes wound healing, tissue and organ regeneration or development or embryonic development and/or reproductive processes, and which inhibits degenerative process, particularly vasculodegenerative processes such as ischemic processes like critical limb ischemia, brain ischemia or ischemic heart disease.SOLUTION: Based on demonstration that Rspo3 and Rspo2 are angiogenesis promoter, and identification of Rspo2 and 3 as positive control agent of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), there are provided regulators, effectors or modulators of Rspondin polypeptides, particularly Rspondin 2 (Rspo2) or Rspondin 3 (Rspo3) or Rspondin nucleotides, or Rspondin, for example Rspo2 and/or Rspo3, as well as their use. |
