Provided are a method and device for correcting an input error and a terminal. The method comprises: after receiving a notification that a terminal slopes, obtaining a current input character, the notification that the terminal slopes comprising the slope direction of the terminal; and replacing the current input character with an updated character. According to the method and device for correcting an input error and the terminal in the present invention, when finding out that an input character is incorrect, a user can adopt a manner of sloping a terminal to select an updated character to replace the character which is incorrectly input, and therefore, the user can be prevented from manually deleting a character which is incorrectly input and prevented from incorrectly inputting again. The operation is simple, and the input efficiency is improved. |
