Disclosed are a lock detector and a clock generator including the same. The lock detector includes a counter unit which provides a count value by counting a mismatch section of a first signal and a second signal which are comparison signals obtained by comparing the phase of a reference signal with the phase of a comparison signal, and a lock detecting unit which outputs a lock detection signal based on a comparison result by comparing the count value with a reference value.
