PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver which can minimize degradation of reception performance, even if the noise level is non-uniform between antennas.SOLUTION: A receiver includes an antenna, a frequency conversion unit, an analog-digital conversion unit, a branch classification unit, a first diversity composition unit, a decoding unit and a second diversity composition unit. The branch classification unit receives a digital signal converted via an antenna, a frequency conversion unit, and a digital-analog conversion unit. The branch classification unit extracts the noise component from a plurality of digital signals, respectively, and classifies the plurality of digital signals according to the properties of noise components thus extracted. The first diversity composition unit performs pre-diversity composition of digital signals belonging to a group for each group thus classified, and generates a first composition signal. The decoding unit decodes the first composition signal. The second diversity composition unit performs post-diversity composition of the first composition signal subjected to decoding. |
