The gas turbine engine has gas turbine, combustor and fuel line comprising throttle valve having movable throttle valve main portion. A actuator device generates a movement of throttle valve main portion having a hydraulic actuator (12) and has pistons (14,18) to actuate actuator and to generate linear movement, which are fluidly coupled to working chambers (16,20) whose volume is changeable by moving pistons. A piezoelectric actuator (36) exerts a force on piston (14). The piston (18) is coupled for movement with throttle valve main portion. An independent claim is included for method for adjusting throttle valve.
