The connector has a sealing element (100) which is contacted with inner housing (10) by wires (800). A holder (130) is arranged behind the sealing element to retain the sealing element and provided with a holder locking portion for inner housing and a holder locking portion (135) for outer housing (30). The holder locking portion for inner housing is resiliently engaged with locking portion of inner housing to fix the inner housing. The holder locking portion for outer housing is resiliently engaged with locking portion (39) of outer housing to fix the outer housing. An independent claim is included for method for assembling connector.
